Privacy policy
Privacy policy
Effective date: February 1, 2026
This policy explains how EpochTools ("we", "us") handles your information when you use this website. The short version: we collect nothing.
What we collect
Nothing that can identify you. There is no user account, no analytics service, no advertising, no tracking pixels, and no server-side logging of your activity. Any timestamp, date or timezone you enter is processed entirely in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers.
Local storage
We use your browser's localStorage to remember one small preference: the timezone you selected in the converters. This data stays on your device, is never sent anywhere, and is cleared if you clear your browser storage.
Hosting and logs
The site is served from Vercel's edge network. Vercel may keep transient, automatically generated server logs (such as IP addresses and request paths) for operational purposes — these are not ours, not used for tracking, and not tied to any identity we hold.
Third parties
We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone. We use no third-party tracking or advertising scripts. The only third-party infrastructure is the static hosting provider serving the site files.
Children
This site is a general-purpose developer tool and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above. Since we collect no data, most changes will be about clarifying how the site works.
Contact
Questions? Since this is a static, client-side tool with no data collection, there is usually nothing to contact us about — but you can reach us through the GitHub repository linked on the site.
